Truly Seeing Someone
Intro
Being deeply seen is one of the greatest gifts we can give. When you acknowledge someone’s qualities and the impact they have on you, you gift them a profound sense of trust, belonging, and love.
This tool guides you to notice what’s beautiful in someone you care about, craft a “value shower” message, and make appreciation a habit in your life.

- What do you truly see in them?List all the qualities you see in them. Include how they make you feel and what seems to come naturally to them.
- How might it feel for them to hear this?Imagine their face as they receive your words. Now, write a few lines on how it could impact them.
- Write a note of appreciation and commit to telling them.Write from the heart and commit to how you’ll tell them. Here’s an optional template: ‘Hey, life is short and I’m reflecting on people I’m most grateful for. I appreciate you for being [*unique qualities].’
- How can you make appreciation and connection a habit?Pick a small habit you want to start with, such as sending an appreciation voice message each week, sharing compliments when the thought arises, etc.
